THE ANNUAL FLY TYING COMMPETITION WAS THE BRAIN CHILD OF PADDY KENNEDY

As Ivan was a keen fisherman it was best felt that an annual Fly Tying competition would be a fitting tribute to Ivan's memory. Each year this event sees young male and female participants challenge themselves to uncover a new personal best in their fly tying skills.

Ivan certainly valued those within the community and it would be his wish that we not only encourage but ensure that the young people of the district are equally valued and that their involvement and wishes are to the fore of any future project planning.
